This week, Emaar Properties, a world renowned multi-national real estate development company based in the UAE, joined Simfoni at the 2023 Middle East Procuretech Summit where they were awarded with the prestigious Digital Transformation Initiative of The Year Award.
The Digital Transformation Initiative of the Year Award recognizes an outstanding and impactful initiative launched by an organization to improve procurement, supply chain & logistics processes. It recognizes the innovation and integration of new initiatives in technology as part of corporate strategy for enhanced procurement and supply chain.
Simfoni nominated Emaar for this distinction because of their success aligning established business needs with their new procurement technology, which ensured a sustainable reconfiguration and optimization of their procurement process. The insights derived from the use of Simfoni’s composable-based spend analytics platform led to the elimination of manual processes and the implementation of core technology, like contract management and supplier onboarding, representing a complete overhaul of the procurement process and their capabilities.
In attendance to accept the award was Kiran Krishnan, Commercial Manager at Emaar, who was joined by Simfoni’s Zoya Ali Khan, Commerical Director for the Middle East region; Sanjeev Ghuman, Operations & Sourcing Manager, and Paul Cook, Vice President of Sales. Also in attendance from the Emaar procurement team was Adelyna Bucher, Assistant Procurement Manager; Mohamed Shariff, Assistant Procurement Manager.
The award was presented in a ceremony during the Middle East Procuretech Summit at the Swissôtel Al Murooj Dubai, on February 21.
