This is a Sourcing Manager senior manager level position focused on supporting the accelerated growth of Simfoni’s business across North America through sourcing and category management. You will be part of a specialist team of procurement and technology professionals. You will support the expansion of our footprint and services across both new and existing clients.

The role is focused on leading sourcing and procurement activity across client accounts, and potentially overseeing the performance of regional Buyers and buying teamsand delivering against service levels and targeted benefits and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

The position offers a platform opportunity for fast-tracked growth and to expand your managerial responsibilities, which extends to account P&L responsibilities and growing the team and our delivery capabilities. You will also participate in product and account development planning and activity.

You are also expected to manage relations with clients and partner organizations. You will direct project teams, work plans and budgets and may oversee the performance of buying team members.
Support for business development includes contributing to client proposals, work plans and budgets and presentations, as well as directing project delivery in conjunction with Simfoni’s project delivery teams.

Candidates will have previous experience in procurement and sourcing gained through procurement line management roles and/or consultancy where they have a proven track record of delivering sourcing projects, managing procurement operations and securing demonstrable benefits with their previous organizations.

The position requires a minimum of a university degree, or equivalent post-graduate degree from a recognized business school. A recognized procurement qualification such as ISM or CIPS is desirable.

Travel and working hours

Working days and hours will be defined in the employment contract. The standard working week is 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of the work, the post holder is expected to be flexible around working hours, but Simfoni promotes self-managed work/life balance as a company value. The role requires flexibility in terms of work location and travel, which will vary depending upon the nature of client project activity. The role may require travel between regional Simfoni office locations and client sites in the USA.
