Role Definition / Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the product and user design frameworks that are leveraged across existing and new products
• Delve into design problems and articulate new solutions across several high-impact initiatives and product experiences
• Create interaction models, flows, wireframes, mockups, and other necessary outputs to illustrate and communicate the design vision of a new feature so that it can be executed upon easily and at scale
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and quality to ensure new features and products are delivered according to design best practices and that the outputs meet the original design vision
• Engage with internal stakeholders, customers, and end users to illustrate and test new designs and gather feedback
• Continually leverage direct and indirect data to inform and influence design decisions
• Partner with the product and tech leadership to ensure we have the right design processes and tooling in place to enable us to achieve our goals

Other abilities and experiences we are looking for:

• Proven experience designing B2B products and solutions, ideally in one of the following spaces: procurement, ecommerce, data analytics
• A strong portfolio that showcases your work, provides details of your role on projects, and shows examples of systems thinking and functional designs that you have developed from start to finish.
• Direct experience and comfort working with end users, customers and stakeholders
• Fluency in modern design tools, principals and processes with skills in facilitation, research, interaction design, and visual design
• Proactive, self-starter able to navigate several priorities and projects at once
• Capable of communicating and prototyping design concepts rapidly at all levels of fidelity.

Travel and working hoursWorking days and hours will be defined in the employment contract. The standard working week is 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday through Friday. The role may require travel between regional Simfoni office locations, to client locations and for periodic team meetings.
