Previously, John was the Chief Financial Officer at the Regional District of Okanagan-Similkameen, which is a regional level of municipal government in Penticton, British Columbia.John has also worked in Eureka and Palm Springs, California, for two for-profit hospital chains as well as in British Columbia and Alberta, Canada, in the private sector health service-delivery space. His experience spans the acute, mental and seniors’ health sectors. John started his career as a Medical Technologist in acute hospital laboratories and is CPA, CA with a MHA from the University of Minnesota.

Additionally, he is a former head of group procurement for a global sovereign wealth fund with direct experience in building teams and implementing a global procurement strategy. Stefan holds an MBA majoring in Finance and Business from Nottingham University.
