Main Duties as an Account Executive:

In this job role, your main responsibility is becoming a trusted advisor to prospects, helping them see the value of the Simfoni Spend Management platform. On any given workday, you may perform any or all of the following important tasks:

• You Target and prospect within an ICP prospect list of 30 to 50 accounts (1/3 of generated MRR should come from your own prospection, while the other part is expected to come from BDR and Marketing inbounds. You roll a very thorough sales process (no cornering) in order to deliver the best value. You are confident using Value Based Selling methodologies such as Gap Selling.
• You engage with Directors, VP’s, and C-Suite buyers interested in gaining visibility and control over their procurement spend. You address their questions and overcome objections so that you achieve mutually beneficial results.
• You use work collaboratively with the Solution Consultant delivering best in class workshops (demo).
• You are bold, confident, and proactive in your communication with customers. You utilize various communication channels such as emailing, phone calls, in-person visits, and corresponding through online professional networks.
• You document all work in the CRM (SFDC) and coordinate resources across the company’s go-to-market functions, so each customer’s experience is seamless, pleasant, and reaches desired outcomes.
• You take initiative, keep up with current industry trends, and seek additional trainings as you become a confident product and subject matter expert. You are a ‘business owner’ of your own territory.

 

Desired Skills & Experience:

You’re likely to succeed in this Account Executive role if:
• You can demonstrate consistent success in overachieving 1 to 2 M targets and selling 150 K ARR + SaaS deals.
• You have at least 10 or more years of experience in relevant areas such as business development, enterprise sales – especially in Tech SaaS. While having Procurement background is a plus, what matters more is being an A player, fast learner, used to sell high to C-suite and has great command of value based selling to enterprise accounts.
• You are aware of the SaaS solution evaluation processes and understand relevant financial drivers.
