Position Requirements

Your Main Duties as a Sales Director – Spend Automation Solutions:

In this job role, your main responsibility is becoming a trusted advisor to prospects, helping them see the value of the Simfoni Spend Automation platform. On any given workday, you may perform any or all of the following important tasks:

Position Responsibilities:-

Meet or exceed all new business development objectives, including quota.
The successful candidate will have an aptitude for managing a complex, consultative sales process including lead generation, qualification, solution demonstration, proposal development, presentation, and contract negotiation for rapidly evolving services offerings.
Build relationships with key executives and decision-makers within accounts, notably with Director+ level executives within Finance, Procurement, and Sourcing.
Form strategic account and close plans.
Learn the product at an intimate level in order to fully understand client’s needs and our ability to solve them. Extensive training and support will be provided.
Develop, share, and maintain an in‐depth knowledge of all key competitors.
Maintain timely sales and related information and provide reporting through designated tools.
You research potential customers including possible procurement initiatives, spend challenges, and industry events, so you provide useful guidance and meet sales quotas.
You use consultative sales techniques such as a Challenger Sales to identify needs and become the go-to trusted advisor for improvements to each customers’ organizational spend.
You fuel organizational growth by strategically and independently prospecting new deals as well as following up on leads and inbound marketing campaigns.
You are bold, confident, and proactive in your communication with customers. You utilize various communication channels such as emailing, phone calls, in-person visits, and corresponding through online professional networks.
You document all work and coordinate resources across the company’s go-to-market functions so each customer’s experience is seamless, pleasant, and reaches desired outcomes.
You take initiative, keep up with current industry trends, and seek additional training as you become a confident product and subject matter expert.

Desired Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate has previous experience self-generating sales opportunities with 3+ years of SaaS technology sales experience, with a demonstrated history of achieving and exceeding quota in new business outside sales.

Based remotely the Sales Director – Spend Automation Solutions must be able to travel when the situation is applicable.
Procurement experience is a plus, but not required.
Track record of success selling complex software solutions to financial stakeholders, with an average deal size of $100K+.
Track record of successfully establishing and managing Director, VP, and C‐Suite client relationships at major corporations.
High intellectual horsepower with a proven history of learning quickly and ramping to success in a sales role.
Undergrad degree from a well‐regarded university; MBA a plus.
Comfortable in an entrepreneurial, growth‐stage, metrics & performance‐driven environment.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written), including the ability to present comfortably to senior executives both in person and virtually.
Strong work ethic and high level of integrity.
Experience with Salesforce.com is a plus.
Experience with Hubspot, Salesloft, Outreach.io, or any sales cadence tool is a plus.
Strong experience with Microsoft Office products.
