Role Responsibilities

This is a senior manager level position focused on supporting the growth of Simfoni’s Spend Automation™ business in the UK and Europe. You will be part of a specialist team of procurement and technology professionals where you will support the expansion of our footprint and services across both our expanding customer base.


The role is focused on leading deployment of our Spend Automation™ cloud platform and delivering sourcing and procurement activity across client accounts, overseeing the performance of our regional BuyDesk operations, delivering against account objectives and maintaining strong relationships with our customers.


You are expected to manage relationships with clients and partner organizations. You will direct project teams, work plans and budgets and oversee the performance of team members.


Support for business development includes contributing to client proposals, work plans and budgets and presentations.
The position offers a platform opportunity for fast-tracked growth and to expand your managerial responsibilities, which extends to account management and P&L responsibilities and growing the team and our delivery capabilities. You will also participate in product and account development activity.

Requirements

Candidates will have previous experience in sourcing and procurement gained through consultancy and/or procurement line management roles where they have a proven track record of delivering sourcing projects and managing procurement operations and with hands-on experience of procurement technology solutions.

Team and Customer Management

Travel and working hoursWorking days and hours will be defined in the employment contract. The standard working week is 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday through Friday. Due to the nature of the work, the post holder is expected to be flexible around working hours, but Simfoni promotes self-managed work/life balance as a company value. The role requires flexibility in terms of work location and travel, which will vary depending upon the nature of project activity which may require travel between regional Simfoni locations and customer sites in the UK and abroad.
