Role Responsibilities

The primary purpose of the Senior Buyer/Catalog Development Team Lead is in performing of and leading a team responsible sourcing and catalog set up of MRO Industrial Materials and Critical Machine Spares. This individual will also have the duty of a BOM/Spare Parts Set Up Project Lead interacting directly with Mgmt, Supervision and Engineering groups in managing and reporting out on the projects.

Important Things You Will Bring:
• Extensive quoting and sourcing activities working out of an OEM’s Spare Parts BOM.
• Full review of OEM’ s Blue Prints to properly identify key features of products for sourcing.
• Per defined Catalog Structure requirements, set up new items in the system – ready to order.
• Set up Pricing Agreements for new and existing items in the system.
• Manage a Master Project document for all Critical Spares Set ups.
• Provide weekly progress reports to Engineering group.
• Coordinate with Engineering on Rev. Level changes and notifications.
• Provide Monthly Cost Savings report out via Access Database reporting tool.
• Provide monthly Program Dashboard.
• Successfully manage and complete any special purchasing assignments.

Requirements

Our Ideal Candidate (with a combination of education and work experience):

• Project Management Professional.
• Strong Industrial MRO Products knowledge.
• Strong US Supply Base knowledge.
• Must be proficient in Access Database use.
• Must possess and demonstrate strong analytical skills and business judgment.
• Must be able to read and understand Prints.
• Ability to identify, document and present cost savings opportunities.
• Prior purchasing experience preferred (MRO commodities preferred).
• Prior Sourcing/Negotiating experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
• Effective time and workplace management skills.

Base LocationIndia based. You may work from home but may be required to be in a regional Xeeva (owned by Simfoni) office from time to time.
Travel and working hoursWe operate with non-linear working hours to accommodate global time zones of clients and global Simfoni operations, but in line with the Company’s work-life balance objective the Company is committed to ensuring that employees achieve a reasonable balance. The role may require travel between regional Simfoni or Xeeva office locations.
